The annual collector's figurine Bird of the Year is one of the highlights in the Goebel range and is always highly anticipated by passionate collectors.
Every year, the association Vogelschutz Bayern e.V. selects a bird that is considered particularly worthy of protection as the bird of the year. The action is to sensitize for the receipt of the threatened domestic bird world. Goebel supports these efforts with a porcelain figure of the respective winning bird. The figurines are made of fine porcelain and come with a collector's certificate. One of the proceeds from the sale of the bird figure will be donated by Goebel to associations that work to protect birdlife. Every collector can thus contribute to the sustainable protection of native birds for the future by purchasing a bird of the year.
