After graduating from toy desig, he has been working as a freelance painter, sculptor and web designer. In 2000 he sculpted the 2 meters high Hummel `Merry Wanderer` figurine for the Goebel company. With his passion for drawing and painting he developed numerous book illustrations, graphic works and drawings. His motifs come to life spontaneously and often have a playful and humorous character. His three cats are indeed very helpful `creative directors`.Every year Goebel presents a new edition of a special artist's angel. In close cooperation the figurines are created by the artist and produced by Goebel. Over the years we developed a whole collection with heavenly creatures, everyone with a unique character based on the artist's style. Ed Heck completes the series with a lovely putto-like angel in Pop Art style.Hands make Goebel - we have remained true to this philosophy. We create individual masterpieces. The historical motifs are adapted in a contemporary way. Selected raw materials and the detailed manufacturing process guarantee our top quality.
